Position Summary:

This position is responsible for hands-on delivery of Windows and Network infrastructure projects as well as management of respective technical teams and clients.

Essential Functions:  

• Scope, manage and work all aspects of multiple mid-sized projects.
• Gather, understand and manage customer/business and technical requirements and expectations.
• Deliver professional infrastructure reviews/assessments and recommendations to best meet business needs.
• Deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Manage multiple mid-sized client IT infrastructures effectively on an ongoing basis.
• Drive to continually improve effectiveness, technical skills and vendor/industry knowledge.
• Work with sales on preparing proposals.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft certifications. Networking certifications a plus.
• Successful Project Management skills.
• Advanced experience in designing, implementing, and supporting MS Windows solutions for mid-sized companies.
• Solid understanding of and experience with DNS, AD, Exchange, Citrix, Remote Access.
• Solid understanding of routers and networking protocols and designs (TCP/IP, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP etc.).
• Solid understanding of new products and technologies (VoIP, AntiVirus, AntiSpam etc.).
• Security, business continuity, capacity planning, problem determination experience.
• Understanding of UNIX/Linux and Windows integration issues a plus.
• Strong Leadership and team building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Scripting background a plus.
• Storage systems: RAID, SAN, NAS a plus.
• Ability to travel when required.

Work Environment:

Mostly general office and sometimes data-center work.
