Success Story: Frontera Resources, a Multi-national Infrastructure Solution

Frontera Resources is a Houston based, public Exploration and Production Company with operations in Tbilisi, Georgia. Prior to X-ISS, Frontera’s infrastructure was being supported by impromptu upgrades and ad hoc fixes. Transferring valuable data between the two major operation sites was taking far too long. When X-ISS was brought in, these and several other IT issues that were hindering the company’s potential were recognized. In an effort to maximize workplace efficiency, increase collaboration, and develop a system for administrating Frontera’s data, X-ISS brought in a managed environment. Now, with the new system, well log data from Tbilisi is being automatically synced with Houston; previously expensive international calls between the offices are as cheap and easy as dialing a 4-digit extension; and the company’s raw data is being turned into information.
