Deepak Khosla, Founder and President

Deepak has over 25 years of managerial and development experience in technology and software industries.  His creative talent and proven leadership expertise has been crucial to the long term success of the Company’s innovative products, systems, and solutions in numerous technology arenas.

Deepak established the Company in 2001 with the intent to create a premiere IT consulting and services organization with the expertise to design, deploy, and manage IT solutions for mid-size, as well as large organizations. The Company’s primary goals were to lower their client’s total ownership and administration costs while optimizing the performance of both their IT systems and operations.

In 2003, the Company became the first-to-market, vendor-independent, and best-of-market leader in High Performance Computing (HPC) implementation services. Since then the Company has built a national reputation for providing high quality HPC services.  The Company’s clientele has included global Fortune 100 firms within the oil and gas, life sciences, financial services, and manufacturing industries such as Dell, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, IBM, M.D. Anderson, the Office of George Bush, Frontera Resources, and GX Technology.

Previous to the inception of X-ISS, from 1993-2001, Deepak served as the President and Co-Founder of Net Partners, a privately held information technology systems and network consulting firm located in Houston, Texas that specialized in IT infrastructure design, implementations, and management solutions and services.  In his capacity, Deepak was responsible for all technical operations, marketing and sales functions, administration duties, and the overall financial and fiscal activities of the organization.

From 1991-1993, Deepak held one of the first management and technical positions for Paranet, an IT services company providing high-end hardware, software, and network solutions for Fortune 100 firms throughout North America. Deepak was accountable for the overall management and quality of all technical operations and their deliverables for this start-up venture.  During his tenure, the firm became one of the fastest-growing companies in the Houston/Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area and was later acquired by Sprint, which bought the organization for $380 million.

Prior to this, from 1983-1991, Deepak was a Product Manager for Landmark Graphics, located in Houston, Texas.  Founded in 1982, this organization has become the world's leading provider of software and consulting services for the upstream oil and gas industries.  In 1996, the firm was acquired by Halliburton.  In his post, Deepak was directly involved in various phases of seismic interpretation products including their design, manufacture, and software development, as well as their installations at client sites throughout the world.

Deepak received a Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1984 from the University of Houston located in Houston, Texas.
